The Cost of IVF and Fertility Treatment

Caperton Fertility Institute’s physicians and staff are dedicated to achieving your goal of pregnancy and parenthood. We understand that economic resources and financial planning are part of a decision on fertility treatment.

It is a common myth that all services provided by Caperton Fertility Institute are not covered by insurance. Most of the time, if you can be seen by your PCP or Obstetrician and Gynecologist, you can be seen by our practice.

Both Dr.’s Kelly and Lee Caperton are Board-Certified in Ob/Gyn, and exclusively take care of patients with issues related to fertility. We can usually see you to figure out why conception is not occurring, just like your generalist would.

We do our best to help you understand your benefits before coming into Caperton Fertility Institute, but always encourage you to call your plan as well, so that you are fully informed prior to visiting us.

Unfortunately, many insurance companies do limit the coverage to diagnostic services (and not treatment), but a few insurance companies provide coverage for both.

Our fertility clinic in Albuquerque, New Mexico is contracted with most major insurance carriers, and we continue to expand our insurance company contracts for our El Paso, Texas fertility center. Because fertility benefits vary by provider, we encourage you to learn about your plan’s coverages as you begin to seek treatment.

We understand the deep emotional need to become a parent, so we work to provide solutions to make fertility care available outside of insurance coverage as well. If a patient has no insurance coverage, we offer a deeply discounted initial exam for both the female and male, including a semen analysis, ultrasound, and a diagnostic treatment plan.

If you have a financial need, please share that with us, as our goal is not just to provide you with successful fertility treatment, but your overall well-being on the journey to parenthood. In recognition of the service and sacrifice that military families experience, we also offer a 10% discount to active military members.

For the phases of fertility treatment, a financing plan that allows patients to spread payments across time is also available.

While Caperton Fertility Institute is led by fertility specialists among the Top 3% of doctors nationally, we are not the highest priced fertility clinic, and strive to make our pricing transparent and inclusive of ALL costs. It is common for many of the less expensive programs to not include much of what we include in our pricing, and also to not be willing to pay to upgrade technology appropriately, or pay staff that is exemplary.

We strive to provide the best technology and excellent outcomes to as many patients as possible. To learn more about infertility treatment and the cost of IVF or other fertility procedures, please schedule a consultation.
