Caperton Fertility Clinic provides you with comprehensive information and support to navigate the surrogacy process from selection to conception.
We offer full-service gestational carrier / surrogacy related options, working directly through our in-house agency to recruit and screen prospective gestational carriers for our patients. This provides our patients a truly streamlined process with access to all third-party reproductive services including egg donation and surrogacy under one roof, rather than needing to coordinate services on their own via multiple outside entities.
There are cases where a woman isn’t able to carry a baby on her own. These include women without a uterus due to surgery or genetic issues, women whose uterus isn’t physiologically capable of holding or sustaining a pregnancy, or male couples. Gestational Surrogacy follows the same protocols as conventional In Vitro Fertilization, where the egg provider is stimulated to produce multiple eggs and the embryo recipient (in this case, the Gestational Surrogate) has her uterus prepared for embryo transfer through hormonal therapy. After egg retrieval, fertilization, and culture to the blastocyst stage in our state-of-the-art embryology lab, the embryo is transferred to the uterus of the surrogate.
As part of our open-arms policy, we welcome and offer services to gay, lesbian and transgendered couples for assisted reproduction and family building.
We are highly experienced in coordinating and incorporating gestational surrogacy into our treatment protocols. We have worked closely with a number of surrogate agencies and are happy to either make a referral or to work with a surrogate agency of your choice. We work together to custom tailor a program that best suits the needs of all parties, so the surrogate can be monitored and prepared at Caperton Fertility Institute or at the surrogate’s place of preference.
